Maritime: Moveable Box 1906-28 Two postcards and one cover (faults) to UK bearing France adhesives each tied by LONDON / M.B. or SOUTHAMPTON / M B cds cancels. Moveable Boxes (or boite mobile) on board private ships we used through a special agreement between France and Britain for mails since 1856 and the service became so successful that moveable boxes were employed to process the mail carried by private ships at a cost of One Penny. 1928 is late usage.
