Gerald King: Alice in Wonderland an extensive collection written up in French on very large pages in display pockets house in two black folders. Includes dozens of fantasy stamps taken from British Colony Queen Victoria designs, GB Penny black designs, plus large amount of fantasy productions imperf and perf of Alice themed labels on coloured papers, mainly in 'Winks' currency, two Alice postage stamp folders one with mint 1887 values to 9d (2), includes approx 400 stamps and approx 68 covers incl one signed by Mary Jean St Clair a childhood friend of Alice Liddell's family whom Lewis Carroll gave his story to their daughter in 1852. Extraordinary lot collected over many years with correspondence from Gerald King and three of four pamphlets for the listings of stamps and covers produced back in the 1980s.
