1936 (1 Aug) Olympic Hindenburg flight card 50pf tied RHEIN MAIN Flug und Luftschiffen cds with good strike of magenta HINDENBURG OLYMPIA FAHRT 1936 airship cachet alongside. This famously flew over the Olympic Stadium during the opening ceremony as part of the regime's propaganda efforts.

1936 (1st May) Hindenburg Zeppelin plain postcard bearing 25pf blue pair tied RHEIN MAIN 1st May cds, with LUFTSCHIFF HINDENBURG / DEUTSCHLANDFAHRT / AM 1 MAI 1937 cachet alongside. This airship was destroyed 5 days later by fire whilst attempting to dock in Lakehurst New Jersey.
