1854 (18 March) Entire Letter Bristol to Macclesfield bearing 1841 1d red-brown (2 margins unevenly cut into) tied BRISTOL 131 spoon cancellation, arrival backstamp, small faults, scarce.
1855 1d red-brown pl.40. Very fine used example (CH), neatly tied to a clean cover by Hull '383' type C/R1 spoon duplex for 27th September 1856. Addressed to Bakewell with blue Chesterfield and Bakewell backstamps. SG Spec. C8 (1).
1855 1d red-brown pl.9 (Wmk LC Perf 14). Very fine used example lettered LK neatly tied to uncreased wrapper by a Manchester '498' type II sideways duplex for 18th October. Addressed to Lancaster with arrival backstamp. SG Spec. C3 (1).

1857 2d blue Pl.6 tied to superb wrapper from London to Perth, Scotland bearing 2d blue (OE) showing re-entry, tied by lightly struck London City duplex for 4th August 1858. Backstamped by a Perth arrival cds. Exhibition quality. (SG 35).
1857 (4 Mar) London & Westminster Bank embossed 1d pink postal stationery envelope cancelled 27 London postmark and Wallingford arrival b/s.
1857 Wmk LC, P.14 1d rose-red in used block of four (PJ-OK) with London WC barred cancels and bottom right stamp also cancelled in red by the same canceler, SG 40.
1858-76 2d blue plate 8 in a fine used strip of three (JA-JC) with 356 numeral cancels of Newport Tipperary.
1862 Isle of Wight - Island registered mail: Very fine registered cover from Ryde Isle of Wight to Aberdeen. Prepaid with 1d rose-red and 6d pale lilac, both neatly tied '666' numerals with RYDE cds below for Feb 14th 1862 alongwith REGISTERED LONDON regd oval alongside (struck twice) and arrival backstamp on reverse.
1864 Specialised collection of 1d Penny reds ( Ex Plate77) well presented on GB album pages all mint / unused most if not all have been hinged and a few with partial or no gum. Plate 222 - 225 has little to no gum. Various shades very nice collection to add with huge catalogue value.
1864-79 1d rose-red fine used plate 225, centred low with part numeral cancel, plate number is clear, Cat £700.
