1849 Forged cover with an impressive Ceres combination from Bordeaux to Paris bearing 1f carmine, 20c black (2) & forged 1f vermilion (Cat £24,000) tied forged diamond grid cancels addr to Minister of Affaires, attractive combination, huge value as genuine.
1849-52 Forgery, 25c deep blue in a superb tete-beche used forged with forged diamond grid cancels, very attractive album piece, Cat £18,000 as genuine. SG 24 var.
1853- 1971 French Davo album nicely filled for the period but not complete, mixed mint and used condition including some better singles and sets including: 1962 80c rose (SG 98) 1c olive green (SG 87), 1902 set of 5 (SG 309/313), 1923 set of 12 (SG 396/400), 1921 War Orphans set of 7 mint missing 1f (SG 388/394) 1948 set of 8 (SG 1028/1035), ideal to break down or build on nice lot. (Approx 1700).
1860 80c rose-red on white paper very fine used four large margins and neat dotted diamond cancel, SG 71.

1937 (3 Jun) Edward & Wallis Simpson Wedding in Monts, France. Four different lavishly printed envelopes with French stamps affix and cancelled in MONTS on the day of the wedding. Two larger covers printed photos of the couple, two coloured red and brown with flags, other similar design but different flags. King Edward VIII abdicated in 1936 to be with his love who was divorced and could not be allowed to marry into the monarchy.
Accumulation in eight albums and binders with useful mint, U/M & used from 19th century to modern noted War Orphans low values mint, 1998-2001 collection in binder, 1973-1981 mint colln, 1950-1962 mint colln, etc, 100s. Good cat value.
WWII Dunkirk and Coudekerque Pairs with Besetztes / Cebiet / Nordfrankreich boxed overprints forged on Mercury 40c violet, 50c blue and 50c red, each expertised diagonally as forged on reverse. High cat as genuine.
Large broken Yvert printed album with mint and used country ranges including Algeria, Congo, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Tunisia, sparse throughout but some better.
