1896 1d dull mauve and carmine, five examples selected for very large part strikes of Lower Tugela (x2 double ring and single ring), Nkandhla (superb on piece), Nondweni & Nqutu. Minor faults but excellent group of these smaller offices.
Postal Fiscal: 1891 1d dull mauve, five examples selected for cancels with nearly complete strikes of LOWER TUGELA and violet R.M. OFFICE / LOWER UMFOLOSI on paper, and fine part to large strikes of MELMOUTH (violet oval) NON(WENI), and NQUTU, a very good group, the first two scarce and exceptional. SG F1. (5).
Postal Fiscal: 1891 1d dull mauve, two interpane gutter blocks of four from top margin and bottom margin, showing guide marks, unmounted mint o.g., both have been folded in the gutter vertically, tones, unusual positional blocks. SG F1.
Revenue: circa 1887 Natal 9d with manuscript Zululand in black and signature, used with incomplete violet cancel. Also Natal 1s horizontal strip of 3 tied to paper by superb strike of boxed violet LOWER TUGELA DIVISION / RESIDENT MAGISTRATES OFFICE datestamp, dated 27 JUN 87. Zululand was declared a crown colony 19/5/87, slight faults but rare forerunners.
