Maritime: Moveable Box 1906-28 Two postcards and one cover (faults) to UK bearing France adhesives each tied by LONDON / M.B. or SOUTHAMPTON / M B cds cancels. Moveable Boxes (or boite mobile) on board private ships we used through a special agreement between France and Britain for mails since 1856 and the service became so successful that moveable boxes were employed to process the mail carried by private ships at a cost of One Penny. 1928 is late usage. (3).

MAIL:WWI Accumulation of covers sent to Copenhagen,Denmark, ALL stampless with group of small envelopes bearing TOLNA (Hungary) cds and triangular censor marking in purple (18), larger envelopes with 'K.U.K. OFFIZIERSTATION / KRIEGGEFANGENE / THERESIENSTADT' handstamp and triangular censor in shades of purple (8) and another with red censor, group of fronts with Osnabruck (Germany) special cancel (4) and further envelopes with postmarks of PRAGUE (2), LUGOS (Romania), ZYWIEC (Poland) & BUCZACZ (Ukraine)all with censor markings. Very good lot in better than average condition (32, plus 4 fronts)

SCANDINAVIA AIRLINES & LUFTHANSA First Flight covers collection written up on leaves in loose-leaf binder with over 95 different covers from 1954-56 includes mostly German flights to dozens of destinations incl 1954 to Buenos Aires, Frankfurt to Manila, Dusseldorf to Sofia, to Madrid, many internal German flights, to London, Paris, 1955 press flight New York to Hamburg with five special cancels on reverse for Manila, Ramna, Dambulla, Murree & Oslo.
